The week kicked off with puffy vests and flannel, and students grew suspicious when staff started dressing just like them. The week wrapped up with an all-black day followed by jersey day.
The best part was seeing students realize something was up and watching their excitement grow as they spent the week trying to guess each day’s theme! 🎉

They practiced under brighter stage lighting and experienced how their sounds travel differently in a new performance space. Students enjoyed showing off what they’ve learned, building endurance, and playing longer, more challenging pieces.
They were also inspired by the 7th and 8th grade bands, seeing how music can be even more fun and exciting, motivating them to continue their music journey next year! 🎺
