Aside from reading and study time, the GHS Library provides a variety of activities for short "brain breaks" or decompression time away from a screen! Jigsaw puzzles represent one of these activities. 🧩
These students are regular visitors to the puzzle table and prefer to work without any puzzle aids—including the picture on the puzzle box!

Students in Kindergarten, and 2nd grade continued the festivities with the book Fenway and Hattie. They got together to play a few rounds of Barko, which is very similar to Bingo. The students really enjoyed getting together with their buddies throughout our weekly activities.

On Friday, Mrs. Stomberg's first grade class and Mr. Seeger's third grade class went on a nature hike to look for squirrels, birds, acorns, trees and pine cones in honor of our One Book One School book titled Fenway and Hattie!

Families, did you know that you can enroll your child into Grantsburg Schools—even if you live outside our attendance boundaries? 😃
It’s possible through the state’s open enrollment program! Be sure to apply by the deadline of April 30.
Learn more: https://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment.

Our Art 1 students are putting their imaginations to work, creating fun and unique parodies of iconic paintings like Grant Wood’s "American Gothic" and Van Gogh’s "Starry Night.”
This marks their second acrylic painting of the term, and they are rising to the challenge with creativity and dedication. We can’t wait to see the final masterpieces! 🎨
Practice makes progress, and great art takes time. Enjoy the process!
