Students in Kindergarten, and 2nd grade continued the festivities with the book Fenway and Hattie. They got together to play a few rounds of Barko, which is very similar to Bingo. The students really enjoyed getting together with their buddies throughout our weekly activities.

Our Art 1 students are putting their imaginations to work, creating fun and unique parodies of iconic paintings like Grant Wood’s "American Gothic" and Van Gogh’s "Starry Night.” This marks their second acrylic painting of the term, and they are rising to the challenge with creativity and dedication. We can’t wait to see the final masterpieces! 🎨 Practice makes progress, and great art takes time. Enjoy the process! 🏴‍☠️#GoGrantsburgPirates

For the month of April the Little Pirates, Kinder & Second Grade classes are collaborating on a weekly Fenway & Hattie activity . 🐶 The second graders were each paired with a kinder or little pirate friend and worked to decorate a pesky squirrel to add to the hallway tree. Fenway has a lot of work cut out for him with all these squirrels! 🐿️
