For the month of April the Little Pirates, Kinder & Second Grade classes are collaborating on a weekly Fenway & Hattie activity . 🐶
The second graders were each paired with a kinder or little pirate friend and worked to decorate a pesky squirrel to add to the hallway tree. Fenway has a lot of work cut out for him with all these squirrels! 🐿️

We made squirrel feeders today with our 3rd grade buddies in conjunction with our book that the whole school is reading, "Fenway and Hattie."

Grantsburg High School had the incredible opportunity to welcome Sam Okello and the @Mizizi Ensemble, Uganda’s premier performing group, as they shared their powerful message of unity through music.
This visit was part of a cultural exchange that began in the summer of 2024, when a team of music teachers and professors from northern Wisconsin and Minnesota traveled to Uganda, bringing music from our culture to share and learn from one another. 🎼🌎
During their time in Wisconsin this winter, the Mizizi Ensemble toured schools and communities, spreading their love of music and braving the Wisconsin weather. We were honored to have them perform for our High School Music and International Club students, creating unforgettable moments of connection and learning.
Here are some photos from their visit!
