It’s not too early to get ready for the upcoming school year. One of the simplest and most effective ways to do that is by reading! 📚
This summer, create a reading schedule to keep you on track. Dedicate a specific time each day for reading, making it a consistent part of the daily routine!

The last few weeks were busy throughout the district. In Ms. Dahl's 3rd-grade class, they made birdhouses, camped out, and experienced life in a one-room schoolhouse.

Some of our GHS students recently spent a day cleaning up trash at Crex Meadows and checking out at a wolf track! 🐾

Fawn-Doe-Rosa is a fun field trip for our kindergarteners at the end of the year.

Thanks to the generosity of @Wild River Outfitters, a field trip highlight was a chance to paddle canoes up and down the river. For many kids, it was their first experience canoeing. It was a beautiful day, made better by the awesome support and enthusiasm of this local business!

Our 3rd graders traveled back in time to the Reed School house! 🏫⏰
Students got to dress up and spend an afternoon learning what school was like many years ago. They compared discipline, lessons, expectations, and chores of students now versus then. They ended their day with some fun making homemade butter!

The 3rd Grade headed to Duluth for a field trip to the aquarium, where they had a special class that allowed them to touch jellyfish and sturgeon.
