2nd Grade has been studying the states of matter. Yesterday’s focus was the state of gas. Today we did a spooky experiment to see what would happen when we mix water, vinegar, and baking soda in a Frankenstein ziploc baggie. It wasn’t the explosion they anticipated, but we observed the gasses expand and max out the bag!

Topics in Science students at GHS created sun prints, which are created by making a photo (light) sensitive solution! ☀️ They brought in and/or created objects to place over the paper, and then exposed their print to UV light. Doing so created images based on what portions were exposed to UV light!
