2nd grade continues to work with numbers through 1,000. Over the past two lessons, we counted and organized 1,000 clips! We started with groups of tens. We knew 10 tens = 100. After organizing our hundreds, we then knew that 10 hundreds = 1,000. Next, we stretched our chain all the way down the hallway and practiced finding different number clips using our jumping hundreds, tens, then one's strategies.

Third-grade student Izzy Peterson recently broke the Grantsburg Elementary school record for the flex-arm hang during winter Physical Education fitness testing. The old record was just set in the Spring of 2022 by Maleah Luke with a time of 132 seconds. Peterson broke Luke’s record by three seconds. Congrats Izzy!
