Congratulations to the following GHS students for participating in the 2026 Honor Band on January 12: Stephanie Ayohua-Hernandez (10) on trumpet, Dylan Seeger (11) on French horn, Jett Jensen (10) on percussion and Brody Seeger (10) on trumpet! These young musicians are a fine representation of the excellence in the GSD music department! Congratulations!

GHS celebrated Winterfest last week with dress-up days, competitive games, and a pageant to crown Winterfest King and Queen. 👑

Every first and third Thursday, the GHS Hope Squad hosts a game day during the lunch period. Students can relax, connect, and play board games. Plus, everyone who participates is entered into a prize drawing at the end of the day.

Grantsburgh Community Education’s yoga classes begin soon! ✨

Open to all ages, these gentle Hatha/Vinyasa-style yoga classes focus on mobility, strength, balance, and centering the mind.

Do you enjoy playing pickleball? Grantsburg Community Education’s pickleball sessions start in January and are open to everyone 18 and older! 🙌

Wednesdays sessions will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm from January 7 to April 29, 2026. Saturday sessions will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am from January 10 to April 25, 2026. All sessions will be located in the GES cafeteria gym. Registration is required.
