Grantsburgh Community Education’s yoga classes begin soon! ✨

Open to all ages, these gentle Hatha/Vinyasa-style yoga classes focus on mobility, strength, balance, and centering the mind.

Sessions will be held in the GES Gym beginning at 7:00pm on Wednesdays. Dates vary per session. The cost of each session is $35 or a $10 drop-in rate.

WERQ Dance Fitness classes begin January 26! 🪩

Come experience this wild and addictive cardio dance workout set to pop and hip-hop music. Expect to sweat, have fun, and burn 400-600 calories per hour. 😀

Sessions will be held in the GES Gym beginning at 5:00pm on Mondays. Dates vary per session. The cost of each session is $30 or a $10 drop-in rate.

Do you enjoy playing pickleball? Grantsburg Community Education’s pickleball sessions start in January and are open to everyone 18 and older! 🙌

Wednesdays sessions will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm from January 7 to April 29, 2026. Saturday sessions will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am from January 10 to April 25, 2026. All sessions will be located in the GES cafeteria gym. Registration is required.

Winter break starts at the end of the day today! ☃️

There will be no school for students December 22 through January 2. We’ll see our students again on Monday, January 5, 2026!

Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for their donation of $540.38 from their Tootsie Roll fundraiser to support students in Special Education programming here at the Grantsburg School District. We are grateful to all who participated and supported this wonderful fundraiser! Our students and staff appreciate your generosity!

Students in the Wisconsin Heritage & Culture course researched the 12 native nations in the state, then created posters to illustrate their history and culture. 🌏

When students are in school consistently, they build confidence, stay on track academically, and form lasting connections with peers and staff.

Here are a few tips for maintaining great attendance all year long:

➡️ Schedule appointments outside of school hours when possible
➡️ Reach out to your school if your child faces challenges getting to class

Ms. Pearson's Tech Math class heard from DR Tech employee Erik Kordt on the importance of math in the real world!

Students got to hear about the math used in the welding field and even took the DR Tech test, given to all potential employees to gauge their mathematical proficiency. Thank you to Mr. Kordt for sharing his insights with our students! 🙏
