Kindness matters every day. When we show respect to one another, we help create a school community where everyone feels valued, supported, and safe. A small act of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s day. 💜
Let’s all do our part to treat others with care, listen with understanding, and speak with respect. Together, we can make our schools an amazing place for everyone! 🌟

Third grade student Josslyn Danielson recently added to her collection of school records when she tied the Grantsburg Elementary School record for the 800 meter run. The old record was established in 2023 by Zoe Marhenke with a time of 3:20. Danielson also holds the 2nd record with a time of 3:27. Congrats Jossy!

Second graders completed their Fairy Tales and Tall Tales unit and celebrated by having a “Flapjacks and Flannel” day. Students enjoyed COLOSSAL size pancakes like they read about in the story of Paul Bunyan. Although the pancakes weren't quite as big as in the story, they sure were delicious!
Our 5th grade students enjoyed Mr. Czeck's Friday dance off to the song "Shake it Off" by Taylor Swift. It was a great way to get up and moving! 🪩🎶

Being present at school is about more than academics—it’s about connections! 🤝
When students are in class each day, they have the chance to build strong relationships with their teachers and peers. These connections support learning, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
Every day in school is a new opportunity to grow, learn, and build friendships. Consistent attendance is the key to making it happen! 🌟

Did you know? Carrying a backpack correctly can make a big difference for kids’ comfort and health. Here are a few quick tips:
➡️ Use both shoulder straps so the weight is evenly distributed
➡️ Pack heavier items closest to the back
➡️ Keep the total weight under 10-15% of your child’s body weight
➡️ Adjust straps so the backpack sits snugly against the back, not hanging low
A well-packed backpack helps students move comfortably and focus on learning! 🎒
