The autism spectrum encompasses a range of neurodevelopmental conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and nonverbal communication, along with unique strengths and differences. On March 6, Grantsburg Middle and High School students came together for an unforgettable assembly—the Lion Heart Experience! Led by @Joe Vercellino and the Lion Heart Experience team, the event incorporated original music and performance art to inspire self-worth and purpose in our students. A huge thank you to the @Youth of Burnett County Prevention Coalition (YOBC), @Burnett County Public Health, Burnett County Health & Human Services, and all the incredible community partners who made this event possible.
