Our high school students had a blast and learned a lot at the Minneapolis Institute of Art and Midtown Global Market! 🎨 A few student art favorites included expressive Impressionist painting “Grainstack, Sun in the Mist” by Claude Monet, “Veiled Lady” by Italian sculptor Raffaelo Monti, and an elaborate 17th century Japanese suit of armor. A special thank you to the adult chaperones who joined the trip. What a fantastic experience for our students! 🏴‍☠️#GoGrantsburgPirates

AP Psychology students tested their sound localization skills and then experimented with what happens when we interfere with hearing to one ear. Our ability to locate sound is significantly disrupted! 🎧 🏴‍☠️#GoGrantsburgPirates

Thank you to all who came to today’s send-off for our Pirate football team, Pep Band and Dance Team as they prepare for the State Tournament tomorrow, November 21, in Madison! We also invite the community to our reception on Thursday night or Friday (TBD after the game) to further celebrate the team's achievements. The GHS Pirates are playing for the state championship on Thursday (tomorrow)! Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00pm at Camp Randall Stadium. 🏈 If you’re headed to the game, there are some carry-in and other policies to note.
