Hands-on learning was on full display in Building Construction as students applied load-bearing and construction concepts in a bridge-building challenge. 🔨
Using balsa wood, students had one week to design bridges that could hold the most weight while weighing the least. Testing took place on December 15, 2025.
Top finishers included:
⭐️ Curtis Fenton, 245 lbs held, 4.3 oz bridge
⭐️ Josiah Kreuser-Peterson, 135 lbs held, 7.9 oz bridge
⭐️ Talon Meyer, 90 lbs held, 3.1 oz bridge
