Last month, our 7th grade social studies students had the opportunity to learn from the experts! They welcomed Abbygail Bergman from Community Bank, who shared valuable lessons on budgeting and saving. It was an excellent way for students to revisit concepts from the Economics unit they completed in November. As students began their learning about North America, GSD Nurse Adrianna Addison joined them to talk about what it’s like growing up in Canada. Students also participated in a presentation about the Holocaust, an important annual learning experience that helps meet state-mandated requirements. We’re grateful to our guest speakers for enriching our students’ learning and helping bring classroom topics to life!
