Our 4th graders had a great day learning and exploring at Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center in Sandstone, Minnesota! 🌲

Students learned about wildlife, survival skills, teamwork, and problem-solving through hands-on activities in the outdoors, all while making lasting memories.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Grantsburg Middle School "Safe Summer Send Off" Family Engagement event! ☀️

Hosted by the Hope Squad, Student Council, and Youth of Burnett County Prevention Coalition, the day featured games, bounce houses, a resource fair, a free book fair, pizza, and snacks.

We are grateful to our community partners and volunteers who helped make this event a success for our students and families!

Grantsburg Middle School 8th grade students explored future career possibilities during the annual Job Shadow Day. Students visited a variety of local and regional workplaces to gain valuable real-world experience and career insight. 🎓

Our 4th grade students enjoyed lunch outside to celebrate the beautiful weather and the excitement of the school year winding down. ☀️

There is something special about sunshine, fresh air, laughter with friends, and making memories together as we head into the final weeks of school. These moments remind us how important it is to slow down, enjoy the little things, and celebrate all the hard work this group has put in throughout the year.

Grantsburg Middle School has been selected to participate in Disney Musicals in Schools: Stage Connect!

One of just 200 schools picked nationwide, GMS will be able to expand theatre education opportunities for students and staff. Through the program, the school will receive access to Disney KIDS musical performance rights, educational resources, teacher training, mentorship opportunities, and more.

Students will have the opportunity to take part in a full musical production during the 2026-27 school year.

Congratulations to the students and staff at GMS on this outstanding achievement!

Sixth grade students are exploring different ways of grouping and factoring by creating rectangles from random area amounts!

This hands-on math activity is helping students strengthen their problem-solving skills while making connections between area models and multiplication concepts.

A favorite 3-year tradition returned as GMS students celebrated the end of state testing with Snacklaces! 🍎

After the final testing session, students headed to the playground wearing creative snack necklaces made from their favorite treats. It was a fun way to enjoy a snack, celebrate their hard work, and burn off some post-test energy.

Great job to our middle schoolers for their focus and effort during testing season!
