GMS math teachers Ms. Owens and Ms. Luebke took 11 of our 6th & 8th grade students to the UW-Eau Claire campus for a Women in Mathematics event on November 8! This year's theme was “Circus Math”, and the girls worked in teams alongside students from across the state to solve challenging problems—including saving some escaped elephants. All attendees received three juggling balls to practice their new skills, as well as a prize for competing in the end-of-day math competition that summarized their learning! 🌟
