Our Homecoming parade and football game are happening today! 🏈🎉

The parade will begin at 2:40pm at its usual spot at the corner of West Olson and East Madison. It will end at the GHS campus.

Our varsity football team will take on Ladysmith at 7:00pm. See you there!

Learn how to save a life at our upcoming Community Education event! ❤️

This certified Adult/Child/Infant CPR and AED training is open to anyone ages 11 and up. Participants will earn a two-year certificate and receive unlimited online access to the handbook. The class will be led by experienced cardiology instructor Deb Miller in a relaxed, easy-to-learn environment.

Did you know? Carrying a backpack correctly can make a big difference for kids’ comfort and health. Here are a few quick tips:

➡️ Use both shoulder straps so the weight is evenly distributed
➡️ Pack heavier items closest to the back
➡️ Keep the total weight under 10-15% of your child’s body weight
➡️ Adjust straps so the backpack sits snugly against the back, not hanging low

A well-packed backpack helps students move comfortably and focus on learning! 🎒

All girls (ages 4-18) and their father/father figures are invited to attend our Dazzling Daughter Dance on Saturday, October 25! 🪩

Enjoy dancing, a dessert table, and memories that will last a lifetime. The event will take place from 6:30 to 8:00pm at Grantsburg Middle School, with a $10 entry fee per person.

Due to ongoing construction by the Village of Grantsburg on Johnson Street and James Avenue, some walking routes near our elementary and high schools will be temporarily closed. 🚧

This map shows which walking routes currently are and are not available.

Additionally, while Johnson Street and James Avenue remain open to vehicle traffic, please note that the roads are gravel and may be more difficult than usual to navigate. We ask all drivers to use extra caution when traveling on or near campus, especially during arrival and dismissal times.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as construction continues. It is our hope that all walking routes will reopen soon. In the meantime, thank you for helping us keep our students safe!
