I'm very happy to be back working in the Grantsburg School District full time as a 4th, 5th, and 6th grade phy ed teacher and assistant to the athletic director. I previously taught in Grantsburg for 13 years from the early 1990s through 2004. I put my teaching time on hold and worked at Northwestern Wisconsin Electric Company for 17 years, but I still filled many roles in GHS athletics during that time.
I am the head baseball coach for GHS, as well as for the 7th and 8th grade teams. I began coaching all levels of baseball with Dick Peper in the summer of 1993. If you do the math you'll see that the 2022 season will be my 30th year with the program.
I am a 1986 graduate of GHS and a 1991 graduate of UW-Eau Claire. My wife, Deb is the GHS head volleyball coach and a fellow GHS and UWEC classmate of mine. We met in Mrs. Baker's afternoon kindergarten class in 1973. We have 3 sons and a daughter who have all appreciated the things our school district has had to offer.
