 Hi! My name is Scott Erickson and I am the Physical Education Teacher at Grantsburg Elementary and Nelson Primary Schools. I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Barron, and graduated from Barron High School. I initially went to WITC-Rice Lake and received a degree in Marketing, and then went to school at UW-La Crosse, where I received my Exercise and Sports Science-Teaching degree. I have taught PE in Avondale, Arizona and Barron, Wisconsin before taking my position here in Grantsburg in 2016.In addition to teaching, I work as a writer for a motor sports publication called Dirt Monthly Magazine, and I also travel the Midwest working as an announcer at various race tracks; two jobs I obtained after spending seven years behind the wheel of a WISSOTA Midwest Modified race car. In my free time I enjoy lifting weights, traveling, reading, and spending time cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers in Camp Randall Stadium.
