When not teaching in the classroom, Mr. Berg enjoys spending time SCUBA diving and researching with his students in the St. Croix River and its tributaries. He also enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and catching rare dragonflies. His current topics of study include freshwater mussel host fish relationships, dragonfly phenology and life history characteristics, restoration ecology, breeding bird community habitat associations and endangered species microhabitat selection.
