Hello! I am Amanda Melin and started teaching Kindergarten in 2013.
I am originally from Grantsburg and graduated from GHS in 2007. After graduating, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and completed an add-on certification in Early Childhood Special Education in May 2012. I received my Masters degree in Special Education from UW-Superior in May 2018. I started my teaching career in 2012 by teaching Early Childhood in the Grantsburg School District.
I live on a beef and cash crop farm with my husband Erik, our son Oliver and daughter Addison so my days are always filled with various activities.
I am looking forward to this year and cannot wait for all the new opportunities and learning that will happen!
