A Little Bit About Me
 Hello!My name is Katie Melin (formerly Miss Cashman). I began teaching in Grantsburg in the fall of 2004. For the first three years, I taught PreK-8 Spanish. After that I moved to 3rd grade and have been teaching 3rd grade since then. I enjoy teaching here and am glad to be a part of the community. My husband Chris, is a GHS graduate. We have 2 daughters, Alivia and Stella. Alivia is in 5th Grade this year and Stella is in 3rd grade. They sure keep us busy. We also have two dogs, Josie and Ellie and a cat named Daisy. Prior to coming to Grantsburg, I was a student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where I majored in Elementary Education and minored in Spanish. I grew up in River Falls, WI where my parents still live. I have two younger sisters, a sister-in-law, and 2 brothers-in-law, who I enjoy spending time with. I'm also blessed with 3 nieces and a nephew. :) In addition to spending time with my family and friends, I love to read, spend time on the lake, watch movies, and do craft projects. I am thrilled to call Grantsburg home. I look forward to a wonderful year! |
