My name is Mike Amundson. I am the Athletic Director and serve as the Dean of Students at Grantsburg Middle School. This is my 43rd year as a member of the Grantsburg School District's Staff including 21 years as Athletic Director. I earned a high school diploma from Janesville Parker High School in 1972. and am a 1976 graduate from U.W. River Falls earning a Bachelor of Science Degree. I obtained a Masters of Education Degree in 2003 from U.W. LaCrosse. The Pirate athletic program has been blessed with outstanding student-athletes, dedicated coaches, supportive parents and a community that values its children. The program offerings along, with the facilities, continue to provide our athletes with some of the best in the area. A wide range of individual and team focus sports are a part of the 17 offerings this district provides. It continues to be an honor to be a part of the Grantsburg School District and this community.
